FURLA LAUNCHES EXCLUSIVE HANDBAG COLLECTION AT SAKS FIFTH AVENUE
Furla, Italy’s leading Premium Accessory brand, is thrilled to launch its exclusive handbag collection for Saks Fifth Avenue introduced on October 26th, 2011. The Company’s Italian spirit, creativity and heritage ‘staged’ in fact at the Saks Fifth Avenue flagship store in New York City. The capsule collection is available in more than 20 stores and on Saks’ official online store www.saksfifthavenue.com. Gossip Girl’s Kelly Rutherford, who is a continuous fan of Furla, co-hosted and introduced the new line along with Furla Creative Director Fabio Fusi.
Furla’s Cruise Collection 2011/2012 for Saks Fifth Avenue includes four different lines in the collection, with seven exclusive models made out of the finest Italian leathers with strong grain patterns that add distinguished texture, smooth skins with vintage effects, soft sheepskins and exotic python. Furla’s design team used a special leather tanning technique which belongs to the Italian tradition of quality craftsmanship. Each piece in the collection is characterized by functional yet versatile hardware, which demonstrates originality while maintaining classic and timeless shapes.
