An imaginary journey to the Mediterranean, a tribute to Italy’s tradition and beauty.
Furla presented the new Milano Fashion Week capsule collection in an exclusive location in the Brera district, in the heart of Milano.
For the first time, the Donna and Uomo collections were launched together in exclusive preview to celebrate simplicity and elegance, the quintessence of linearity and genderless style. The interior featured site-specific elements such as projections, screens, sounds and perfumes to recreate the Mediterranean atmosphere of the picturesque Italian coastal towns that inspired the collection.
The collection is a homage to Maritime Republics; to the wild beauty of seaside towns in Italy, to Made in Italy craftsmanship and tradition.
Each bag is different, mirroring the infinite variety of Italian towns and culture, with its ancient crafts and cutting-edge research: from hand-woven interlacing to the most sophisticated laser perforations, from sailing materials to the transparent blue pvc that recalls the depth of the sea, each model represents an island in a journey under the sun of the Italian seaside towns. The collection also introduced the new Furla monogram logo, which features a stylized “F" in each creation that recalls the initial of the company name and its founder’s surname, Aldo Furlanetto. The monogram logo stands for the heraldic coat of arms of the most ancient Italian families and cities.
Along with the international and Italian press, many guests attended the event such as celebrities Chiara Ferragni, Matilda De Angelis and Beatrice Vendramin, but also top influencers like Stefanie Giesinger, Chiara Biasi, Beatrice Valli, Marco Fantini, Veronica Ferraro, Valentina Marzullo, Luanna Perez, Rika Izumi and Mr. Bags.
